Splash Pad Rules

The rules at our splash pad are in place to help ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for all guests. They are designed to reduce the risk of injuries, promote respectful use of the facility, and help maintain proper water quality standards.

Swim Attire

Appropriate swimwear designed for aquatic use must be worn at all times. Street clothes, cut-off shorts, and other non-swim attire are not permitted, as they can affect water quality and the safe operation of the facility.

Splash Pad Closing Policy

Splash Pad Closure

  • If storm conditions create a clearing of the Facility and there is no sign of weather clearing, the Splash Pad will be closed.
  • Anytime lightning is spotted, or thunder is heard, the Facility will close for 30 minutes and will not re-open until no thunder or lightning has occurred for 30 minutes.
  • Situations occur that jeopardize public health or safety. Illinois Health Code requires clearing the Facility for a minimum of 15 minutes while chemical adjustments are made.
